Thousands of people are working every day to plant and care for the forests where they live. Chances are there's a group near you. Citizen foresters are part of a larger movement to help urban forests thrive and grow. They know city trees clean the air, store carbon, cut energy costs, and even lower stress. Many of the people we've talked with got their start by planting trees right around their own homes.
